This privacy policy is applicable to anyone who communicates with me directly, and/or via our website. This policy sets out how I use and protect any information that you provide when you use this website.

How do I collect information?

I collect information from you when you visit the website, via our newsletter sign-up form or a download form, when you fill out the contact form on the website, when you accept a quote, via emails and via any other online and/or in person contact between you and I.

If and when you provide information by which you can be identified whilst on this website, be assured that it will only be used the way outlined in this statement. The policy may change with updates reflected on this page. This policy is effective from 08/05/2024.

What information do I collect?

When I begin working with you, you may also be asked to provide:
Your company account details, so I can process an bill or invoice.
Your website, brand or marketing credentials, so I may reasonably access work required.

When filling out any form on the website you may be asked to enter your name, email address, company name, project details, telephone, and website address. You may visit the site anonymously.

I use cookies to enhance your experience, gather visitor information and track visits.

What do I use your information for?

As well as carrying out the work outlined in an agreement, brief or contract, the information I collect from may also be used in any of the following ways:

To improve customer service.
Your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs.

To process collaboration or contracting agreements.
If you send your portfolio or professional profile as part if a discussion about work with me then this information you provide will be used to determine whether to engage in a working relationship.

To send periodic emails.
If you have provided your email address via the newsletter sign-up form only, then I would only ever send updates from The Journal, occasional special editions and competitions. In this case, your information would not be shared with any third party partners other than our email newsletter platform. If you have entered your email address to request a download or asset, I will email you the requested document, and updates relating to it.

The email address you provide when we begin working together may be used to send you information and updates regarding your project, in addition to occasional important updates.

Information that I receive as a result of your visit to the website, which would only be collected in aggregate (so your details would remain anonymous), may be used:

Do I use cookies?

Yes. How do I protect your information?

I implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of any personal information that you share with us. These include:

Ensuring I only store your information within our own, or trusted third party’s password protected, encrypted directories and databases.

A secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway provider’s database is only accessible by those authorised with special access rights to such systems. After any transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.


Do I disclose information to outside parties?

I do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist in operating the website or conducting business as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. Your rights

You have the right to request updates to your information, as well as the ‘right to be forgotten’, in accordance with European law. Any requests to update or delete data should be sent to hellogreensmoke@gmail.com and will be responded to within 30 days.

By using our site, you consent to this privacy policy as it pertains to any online activity with us. When I begin working on a project with you, you consent to our using your data as outlined in the terms and conditions of any written contract, and in this privacy policy.
